Without paid access to this possibly great review on the predictors of progression from Psoriasis to Arthritis, I can only surmise from the listed references that these are the risk factors:

  1. Genetics: HLA-B*08, HLA-C*06:02, HLA-B*27, HLA-B*38 and HLA-B*39
  2. Family history of Psoriatic Arthritis
  3. Indian race
  4. Larger body surface area with Psoriasis
  5. Onycholysis
  6. Obesity in early adulthood
  7. Injuries and infections (with antibiotics use)
  8. Alcohol and smoking (contradictory results depending on gender and intensity)
  9. Dysbiosis of skin and gut microbiome
  10. Longterm use of NSAIDs, Paracetamol, Corticosteroids
