Without paid access to this possibly great review on the predictors of progression from Psoriasis to Arthritis, I can only surmise from the listed references that these are the risk factors:
- Genetics: HLA-B*08, HLA-C*06:02, HLA-B*27, HLA-B*38 and HLA-B*39
- Family history of Psoriatic Arthritis
- Indian race
- Larger body surface area with Psoriasis
- Onycholysis
- Obesity in early adulthood
- Injuries and infections (with antibiotics use)
- Alcohol and smoking (contradictory results depending on gender and intensity)
- Dysbiosis of skin and gut microbiome
- Longterm use of NSAIDs, Paracetamol, Corticosteroids
